Write an amendment that you strongly believe the United States Constitution needs. Please do not write any satirical responses; only amendments that deal with what you would think of as a serious issue. I’m looking for forward thinking, critical proposals. Please read past amendments to see the typical style (syntax, tone and diction) of an amendment. Also, note that most amendments are a few sentences long.

Then write a statement (300 – 500 words) that would persuade the average voter to pass your amendment if put on a ballot.

Arial font size 12
Margins (1 inch all the way around)
Single space in paragraphs, with a double space between paragraphs.

1. LOWERING DRINKING AGE TO 18

2. ABOLISHING THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE

3. ABORTION (PRO OR CON)
