Connections to Ben & Jerry’s Case part 2
Order Description
Review Chapter 2 in the textbook, Nonprofit Management: Principles and Practice, paying particular attention to Case 2.2 “A Double Bottom Line: Ben & Jerry’s” on p. 43.
Conduct independent research to identify a separate case of a nonprofit and for-profit partnership that you will discuss in your journal.
Navigate to the Journal and submit an entry composed of 4-8 paragraphs that is organized with the following headings:
The “Winner:” Discuss the “winner” as a result of the partnership – the non-profit or the for-profit. As noted in the text these partnerships are usually based upon financial benefit for both parties. Discuss whether this is the case and who seems to be winning as a result of the partnership – or tell us what each party is “winning.” (2-3 paragraphs)
Comparison to Ben & Jerry: List at least one similarity and one difference compared to the Ben & Jerry’s Case (Case 2.2) and clearly make your point in a way that demonstrates critical thinking. (2-3 paragraphs)
