Write an analytical report on ONE of the following scenarios.

Think of a common problem that computer scientists solve in the workplace and then choose a likely organization for which you might work. Choose a specific problem in your field that you could write a recommendation report for. You’ll need to identify the most likely management-level recipient of such a report so that you can design the document to persuade such an “audience.”

Your MP has requested an analytical report about a computer-related issue affecting an important bill (like C-13 or C-51) that has or will come before parliament. He or she needs to be able to speak with authority about whether or not to support the bill.

MYSCHOOL’s computer science department is undergoing a curriculum review, and the Chair wants to know what other successful comparable departments are doing. Choose one or two departments’ curricula as possible models, and recommend changes or confirm that the current approach is the best one.

Use the following format for your report (include a title page and cover):

Executive summary
Introduction
Methods
Results (include subsections)
Conclusions
Recommendations
