This is a comparative essay of the works Grendel by John Gardner and All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy. I have included a rubric, directions, and a sample of my writing style (I’d prefer for my professor to believe it’s me).

Instructions:
Our final draft will be between 2 and 3 pages (though you will not be marked down for going over 3 pages)
You must cite your paper in MLA format (Double Spaced minus any spacing before or after, indent new paragraphs, 1 inch margins all around, Times New Roman or equivalent font in 12 point).
You will include a Works Cited page (not one of the 2-3 pages of typed text)
***This works cited only will include the two pieces of literature being compared
Any paper that does not include a Works Cited page will receive a score of ZERO.
