For my courses summer semester project we have partnered up to create an industry profile for a local company, and look at their communication technology. For our company we have chosen a local print newspaper company called the Wenatchee World. In paper 1 my partner looked at social factors affecting the history and development of a local organization, which I have included a copy of that since you’re supposed to “makes use of what you learned in Paper 1 about the Industry and Social Factors facing your organization. In this paper, you consider how communication technologies might address those opportunities and challenges. You will also review the current status of communication technology use by your organization and by peer organizations, and factors to watch that might affect communication technology use.” My portions, paper 2, is focused on the current status of the organization’s use of information technologies, competitive environment, and factors to watch. I have also included my base outline which I created and submitted already, so I would prefer the paper was written off of this. Additionally, it is important that this is written in strict AP format down to the citations.
Here are the comments my professor included about my paper outline draft: For the draft, consider adding in-text citations for the social media sites and web sites that you mentioned. Simply include the url in parentheses following the first mention. No reference list citation is needed for general references to web sites and social media sites.
