Research Paper on Communication: APA format, 5 pages minimum (not to exceed 5 pages content). Each paper requires at least 3 academic references, not including the textbook (although the textbook may certainly be cited) with attached Works Cited. Use the following format guidelines: double space, 12 pt, Times New Roman. A Works Cited page is required but is not included in the page count. A cover page is required and is also not included in the page count. Topics for the Research Paper must be directly related to homeland security or the Department of Homeland Security (e.g. immigration, border security, cyber security, law enforcement, terrorism, foreign or domestic, critical resource protection, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence, or laws related to DHS or effect the defense of the homeland, to name a few). Please use scholarly resources only and try not to use resources that are heavily biased. Often news sources are not considered scholarly and Wikipedia is NOT acceptable as a source. If you need help finding sources, let me know. I am pretty good at open-source intelligence research.
