For this paper you will investigate the applied aspects of cognitive psychology. You may select any topic that
you find interesting. Your task is to write a paper in which you summarize, synthesize and analyze current
research on one of the topic provided below.
You are in charge of testifying in front of the state legislature regarding whether they should enact a law
banning cell phone use while driving. Your job is to present scientific evidence and draw conclusions based on
cognitive psychology research on attention span and the performance of critical tasks that would support the
legislative ban.
