Topic: Coding Manager

State specific research: As Coding Manager, you must provide your staff with available state specific resources. Research state specific resources related to coding, reimbursement, and third party payers. Your research should include the third party payers of commercial insurance, managed care plans, Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, and Medicaid. Additionally, your research should address fiscal intermediaries, fiscal agents, QIOs, PROs, and state professional associations. Submit a list of your research. Entries in your list should include the reference topic, state organization, contact information, and website.
Even though this is not a scientific-type writing assignment, and is mostly creative in nature, references are still very important. At least 3 authoritative, outside references are required (anonymous authors or web pages are not acceptable). These should be listed on the last page titled “Works Cited” or “References”.
Appropriate citations are required.
