Investigate code-switching (CS) (from a sociolinguistic perspective) between bilingual people. You
may record a bilingual conversation or find data from readily available sources, e.g. TV, radio,
internet. Provide a transcription and clearly indicate instances of CS in your data. Choose one
theory/model of CS discussed in class for your analysis. Note that the aim is to identify social
functions of CS and not grammatical or cognitive aspects.
