Task 3: Designing a Classroom Management Plan
Introduction:
For this task, you will analyze and incorporate classroom management theories and evidence-based strategies as they apply to the design of a classroom management plan.
Requirements:
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. Use the Turnitin Originality Report available in Taskstream as a guide for this measure of originality.
You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. A. Create a philosophical statement that embodies your thoughts on classroom management, referencing one classroom management theory that supports your personal philosophy.
B. Provide classroom expectations and rules that are supported by an evidence-based strategy.
C. Provide classroom routines that are supported by an evidence-based strategy.
D. Describe a strategy you could integrate into a classroom environment to manage routine misbehaviors, including one related source or real-world example to support your strategy.
E. Describe how your classroom supports an emotionally safe environment that fosters learning and deals effectively with emotions, conflicts, and serious behavior problems.
F. Acknowledge sources, using APA-formatted in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.
