Once you have decided on your original topic, answer the following questions in a memo addressed to your instructor:

Which specific interests, information needs, and attitudes toward the topic are addressed?
What similarities and differences within the sites help specify which audience they are targeting?
How are secondary audiences and purposes addressed?

Answer the following essay prompt:  How severe is childhood obesity in the United States? Do you think the government should be involved in the fight against child obesity or is it purely the parents’ responsibility? Explain your position. (Or is it a little of both?)
