Order Description
After reading the characterizations of the plowman, friar, and franklin (landowner) compare and contrast their personalities. Are they pleasing or unpleasing according to their social status? Class status? Do you feel they are stereotypical according to what you read in the “Historical Overview”? Does your reading of the plowman add or take away from your perspectives of a farmer or farming?
Use specific examples from the texts you read and previous discussions as evidence. Quote, paraphrase, summarize, and cite appropriate. This link on OWL Purdue gives additional formatting information Link

Introduce fresh material, This may require additional research.
Properly cite your sources at the end of post Link
Each post should be written as a complete thought.
Identify your topic
Narrow the topic by telling your audience your point of view on a specific point
Show your audience what you mean by offering evidence
Conclude
A good test of whether or not it is a complete thought is if you can remove it from the discussion and have it still make sense
Responses to classmates’ posts should always have a “because” clause
Use appropriate netiquette. Nobody should feel attacked Link
