a. Hook your reader into your paper.
b. Introduce the book and author
c. Introduce the character
d. Thesis: one sentence opinion statement that your ENTIRE paper will examine. Remember – this needs to challenge the reader to be convinced by your argument.

BODY:

a. Claim/ topic sentence. it must be directly related to the THESIS
