Capital Punishment Rubric 2020:
1.    According to Chapter 7 and the notes in the Chapter 7 & 8 folder, define punishment.
2.    Explain the aim of punishment listed in the chapter and in the notes in your own words.
3.    Explain the arguments for and against capital punishment listed in the chapter and in our notes in your own words.
4.    Which reason for capital punishment do you most agree with?  Why?
5.    Which reason against capital punishment do you most agree with?  Why?

The paper should be 400-650 words in length and submitted by Wednesday.  Each question should be a paragraph in length.
How your paper will be graded:
    Did you follow directions, turn the paper in on time, and use good rules of grammar and sentence structure?  =20 points
    Did you engage the subject and address each of the areas of the assignment? =40 points
    Did you give meaningful thought and offer clear insightful analysis about the topic?  =40 points
    Total points = 100
