This is a research paper for my senior women and gender studies capstone college course. The research question I am asking is “How can elementary school educators avoid gender bias in the classroom?
Here is an outline of what should be included:
I. Introduction to the Research (i.e. Statement of the Problem)
a. What is the problem / issue addressed in your research?
b. Why have you selected this topic? (i.e. personal experience, intellectual curiosity, course-related expansion)
c. Explain the broad research areas that inspired your thinking around this topic (i.e. intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality; cultural studies; queer theory; transnational feminist movements, etc.)
d. Briefly justify the need for the research (i.e. why is it important)
e. Articulate at least one (but no more than 3) framing questions that your research proposes to answer.

III. Feminist Methodology Statement
a. Describe how a feminist methodological framework is central to pursuing the research project
b. How does this methodology help you to answer your research question(s)?
c. How and why does this framework point you towards particular research method(s)?
IV. Method(s) Selected
a. Identify and detail the methods chosen to gather data in your research project
b. How did you go about gathering evidence for your project? Describe it in a step-by-step process.
V. Findings and/or Analysis To Date
