The report should consist of title page, an Abstract, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings/Analysis, Conclusions, References, and Appendix.
The Abstract offers a summary of problems and solutions. Body part should
1. Define the problem to be studied and the purpose of research. You should state clear the value of your research project.
2. Include a literature review which sets the study in a wider academic context. Reference should be made to the appropriate business literature and the review should be a critical one.
3. Justify the choice of research design. Account for Validity and Reliability and sampling issues: define the population, identify the sampling frame, the type of sample, and how it is selected. You should also state the limitations of the data.
4. Describe the design of questionnaire. If you conducted a pre-test, also describe the changes made to the questionnaire due to results of pre-test. It is anticipated that 10 fully completed questionnaires will suffice.
5. Provide an appropriate analysis of the data. The type of analysis conducted should be consistent with your objectives and nature of the data collected.
6. Some conclusions and an indication of how the results of research could be used.
You should maintain good references using the Harvard system. Incorrect referencing will be penalised.
Appendix should include questionnaire, figures, and tables, if any
An electronic copy of the Report, the data and the analysis (using Excel) must be provided.
The purpose of the individual report is to allow the student the opportunity to explore an area of the course in depth, and demonstrate evidence of independent critical thought and research.
. The maximum length of the report will be 2400 words maximum.
