Business Interviews – You will interview three persons currently in business (one must be an owner of a company) in order to understand personal motivations for business, stories of success and failure, what guides their ethical thinking, ways that they tend to their own growth as a business person, challenges they see ahead on the business front, how they view business from a Christian perspective (if they are a Christian), how they see the way they conduct business impacting the world around them, etc. Form 3-5 good interview questions that you can submit to them ahead of your interview, following up then with a face-to-face (can include virtual interaction such as Skype but not e-mail) meeting of between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Use this time to explore important topics that you are interested in and that will help you as a growing business person. Following the completion of all three interviews, submit a 3-5 page paper that summarizes the interviews. You can use these insights to contribute to your personal philosophy of business paper as you consider how their responses challenge your thinking and contribute to your emerging philosophy of business.
