This essay is for an honors college class (human situation antiquity) and the flexibility of the instructions leaves for very little instructions, which are listed below:
-3 to 4 page length
-Make a claim/thesis about a theme or idea in the text we choose
-Back up the claim and how it is significant (basically it should sound somewhat profound or like deep thought has been put into it)
-It is going to be over The Book of Job in the jewish bible. My course is using a specific version of the jewish bible – “Tanakh The Holy Scriptures; The New JPS Translation According to the Traditional Hebrew Text” and it is very important that any text evidence citations come from this version, and the only chapter I am writing about is The Book of Job.
-My title and kind of guiding question to make my claim for this essay was ‘Is Job’s Suffering for His Own Good?’ or something along those lines
I uploaded an essay I wrote over an earlier book to provide an example of my writing style for the sake of believability, but feel free to add your own flair and much better writing skills
