Using the principles and concepts learned during the course, a 15-page case study (with a minimum of 15 scholarly references) about Bitcoin, a digital currency that can be used in electronic payment systems. Bitcoin falls into the pattern of the private currency described by nobel laureate F.A. von Hayek. As more and more businesses jump on board with accepting Bitcoin as a digital currency, others will follow and more consumers will trust the currency. This is not an economics assignment as you are required to analyze the digital transformation from the perspective of consumers and how firms transition to leveraging Bitcoin, bringing into the discussion the various theories of marketing in a digital era.
