All the way through this semester, we discuss various paradigms (Kuhn’s term) and Research Programs (Lakato’s term).
Do you think that Behavioral Economics Research has the ability to change the current paradigm/research program in economics?
In your paper explain how this paradigm is changing the status quo. In specific:
1 What fundamental assumptions are challenged?
2 What irregularity has behavioral economics research identified?
3 Can the current paradigm somehow integrate these new findings and irregularity from behavioral economics? Hint, Think of Gary Becker
4 What are the advantages of the new way?
