Balance, Reactive, SAQ

Incorporating integrated training concepts into a fitness program is vital to maximize the progression of a client. However, when designing programs for clients with different needs and goals, it can be difficult to communicate the importance and benefits of certain integrated training concepts.

Answer the following questions as if you were discussing integrated training concepts directly with a client:

“How will you incorporate balance training into my program as I progress through the OPT model, and how do balance exercises differ with each level?” Provide examples.
“What is the purpose of plyometric (reactive) exercise?” Choose a plyometric exercise and describe the biomechanics involved with each phase of its movement: eccentric, amortization, and concentric.
“I’m not very athletic, how can I benefit from SAQ training?” Explain the purpose of SAQ drills for youth, seniors, and clients looking to lose weight.
