Student will complete a 5-7 page comparison/contrast paper using one USA/British detective fiction story and another non-USE/British detective fiction story. In this paper, the student must identify at least three common components for the two selected stories and at least three components of difference. The student must postulate whether detective stories are global or national in nature.
