WHAT THIS MEANS IS TAKE A ORAL TALE THAT’S BEEN MADE INTO A LITERARY MYTH. Be sure to give us all of the necessary data: the theorist, the year, how it was communicated with the greater world (book, lecture, etc.).

Was it named something different (like Little Red Riding Hood was originally, at least in one version, Little Red Cap, and prior to that The Path of Pins and Needles)?
