Step 2: Find the lyrics on the Internet and copy them into a word document so you can edit the text for the analysis.

Step 3: Listen to your song choice several times and read the lyrics along with the music, “sing out loud”. Pay attention to the lyrics and find all of the words that could be cognate words. Make annotations if it helps.
