You have watched six plays which represent some of the most important styles of western theatre. We have said all along that theatre tells stories about human beings and their lives (and the meaning of their lives). In the space provided for you, reflect on some important ideas about life and its meaning that these plays try to explore. You can choose one of these three themes: family/community or human sexuality or who/what determines our fate. Be sure to use specific examples from at least three of the plays.
