1.For this assignment I would like you to begin thinking about what you read. What about those writers draw you into their writing? What keeps you engaged? I want you to find ten quotes from writers that you enjoy that you wish you would have written, then describe the devices or the impact the quote had on you as a reader.
a. Your quote must discuss the writing the quote is a part of, the impact the quote has in terms of writer’s style or impact for the reader.
You may use rhetorical terminology, but I realize not all of you know that terminology. I am really looking for a foundation for how you are able to enjoy good writing styles and what types of stylistic choices you might want to emulate.
