Carefully read the two attached papers and bring your answers to the following questions with to discussion:
1) What arguments do these authors make about the intersection of language practices and gender?
2) To what extent do these authors’ findings correlate with/ or contradict gender stereotypes?
For you Slack contribution, list a gendered norm that a) either continues to be prevalent in everyday language practices, or has been actively challenged, and b) how your listed stereotype either reflect, maintain, or challenges the status quo.
