and focus on one Artwork!! you might compare it to others, but the paper should be about that one artwork
-----------------------------------
The paper should be 7 pages long and address in a substantive manner how twoor three of the themes discussed in class (and listed below) apply to your artwork. How do these theoretical models help you to better understand the artwork as a contemporary “thing”? In addition to applying the readings to your artwork, make sure to introduce your artwork with a brief description and, if able, how it is typically understood by art historians. In other words, how is your paper different then others who have analyzed the artist and/or artwork. You are welcome to compare it to other works but the substance of the paper should be about your artwork. Be sure to include a captioned illustration of your artwork (as well as any other artworks you mention), in-text
source citations, and a Bibliography page. Use Chicago Style formats.
