Assignment #1: Report on issue about health, safety, or nutrition (20 points; Due Week 5) Standards: FEAP: (a)1; InTASC 4; PKP:1.1; 1.3; PE: 1.2; 1.4 ; NAEYC:5 The purpose of this assignment is to investigate an issue of your choice related to children?s health, safety and/or nutrition. Begin by reviewing the topics and choosing one that is of particular interest and/or concern to you. Next, conduct a review of the literature on the topic. Upon completion of your review, write a report about the topic you investigated, describing the implications and relevance of the issue, and sharing your personal insights on the issue. Include at least 5 references (including but not limited to articles from newspaper stories, professional journals and reference books.)
