The final objective in this course is to develop a personal plan for continued building and strengthening of your managerial skills. To accomplish these objectives, you will complete the Personal Assessment of Management Skills (PAMS) Survey (beginning on page 24 of your text) twice in the course, one time at the beginning and once near the end. In addition, you will distribute at least two copies of the assessment survey to work colleagues to be completed in reference to you and returned to the course instructor anonymously.

You, then, will use the results of these four samples (two from you and two from colleagues) to produce an analysis and action plan paper. Written in standard academic format (i.e., double-spaced, appropriate references, etc.), this ten-page paper will report on the results of your assessment (your own evaluation vs. that of others about you, and the change in your assessment over time); provide an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses discovered; and conclude with a proposal for building on your strengths and/or addressing your weaknesses (SMART goals!).
