Write an essay analyzing the failures in communication and conflicts, answering the following questions for each relationship:

1. Who had a conflict with whom? Look at each pair separately.

2. What was the source of their conflict/failure? Lies? Misunderstanding? Lack of empathy? Or?

3. How did the conflict affect each character?

4. How did the filmmaker show the conflict? Music? Camera moves and lighting? Dialogue?

This essay could earn you an extra eight points. Be thorough! It’s worth it to see relationships in a new way.
