What elements does musical theater share with other styles of live performance? Please analyze the relationship between plays and musicals, featuring two examples in your paper: any one (1) musical of your choice, and any one (1) of the following plays: A Doll House, Yellow Face, Hippolytus, or Dulcitius. What elements do these works share as “theater,” and what elements are unique to each example?
