In 1965 Alabama required an individual to take and pass the test to vote. If you were white then you were grandfathered in and you did not have to take the test. This led to the 1965 voting rights act that protected all voters. Recently the Supreme court overturned the act. What do you think might occur now that the act has been overturned and do you think it is necessary to have a form of legal protection
