Paper details: Project Guidelines
Step 1:
Identify a leader in Lean and Six Sigma management: (Amazon.com)
Step 2:
• • Study how this company/entity has successfully implemented Lean and Six Sigma management within the company/entity and its supply chain/partners.
• • Further investigate how this company/entity has used quality management tools and philosophies (that we have learned in the course) in order to achieve its Lean and Six Sigma goals.
• • Forecast the future of this company/entity as a leader in Lean and Six Sigma management.
Step 3:
• Background information about the company/entity; in particular, its status before and after implementing Lean and Six Sigma management.
• Information about the supply chain of this company/entity and its partners; in particular, I would like to see information about Lean and Six Sigma adoption throughout the supply chain and partners.
• Detailed discussion on how the company/entity has used quality management tools and philosophies (that we have learned in the course) in order to achieve its Lean and Six Sigma goals. Since we have learned so many quality management tools and philosophies, you may limit your attention to five key items in this case. However, I would like to see a separate and elaborative discussion (sub-) section for each item.
• A statement about the future of this company/entity as a leader in Lean and Six Sigma management with your recommendation for improvements.
Format of the report
Your project report should be formal and must include the following:
• An attractive cover page with the title, course name, date/semester, names of the group members and the instructor
• An executive summary
• Detailed content page with the page numbers
• List of figures with the page numbers (if applicable)
• List of tables with the page numbers (if applicable)
• Introduction
• Main body(—there could/should be multiple sections here)
• References(—I have posted a sample on this)
• Appendices (if applicable)
