Paper instructions:
There are several important US Supreme Court decisions that have affected probation revocation processes and the individual rights of probationers. The cases are Mempa v. Rhay; Gagnon v. Scarpelli; Bearden v. Georgia; Black v. Romano. Compare the issues at stake in each of these cases and how the court decided them. Do you agree or disagree with the court’s decision? Why? Why not?
