Alcohol Evolution
Talk about the evolution of actually making alcohol and understanding it from a nutritional perspective. consider why some groups of people (such as Native Americans) are more sensitive to alcohol by accounting for dietary patterns, evolution and genetic theories that indicate some groups of people are “deficient” in the genes that process alcohol and aldehyde dehydrogenase due to their ancestral diets. Also, within this argument , explain how social developments such as the prohibition of alcohol have contributed to the negative social perceptions of these kinds of beverages.
