Reflection of Your Practicum Experience (Riverside Mental Health and Medical Clinic)
In a 1,000-1,250 words, address the following:
1. Summarize your practicum experience ( Working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient mental health and medical clinic. This clinic also have community outreach programs to visit youths in juvenile detention facility and geriatric patients in nursing home and assisted living facilities diagnosed with mental health and medical issues. This clinic clinicians are psychiatrists, family and psychiatry nurse practitioners, mental health therapists, counselors, and social workers. My preceptors are the family and psychiatrist nurse practitioners.
2. Describe how you have applied theory and/or knowledge from your course work ( master in public health nursing) into practice during your practicum experience (provide specific examples).
