Write a brief case study of a hypothetical client (no real people, please) who meets criteria for a DSM-5 diagnosis. To begin, choose a DSM-5 diagnosis and write a compelling story around the diagnostic symptoms. The DSM-5 diagnosis you choose must be one from chapters 5-7 of the textbook. Be sure that your client exhibits enough symptoms to meet criteria for the diagnosis. This case study should be between 300-1000 words, your own production (not borrowed from book of online source) and include the following:
Demographic information (Refer to Hays 1996 article on the ADDRESSING Model; age (18+), disability status, religion, ethnicity/race, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, indigenous heritage, national origin, gender)
Other relevant demographic variables
Presenting concern including specific symptoms
Relevant psychosocial history
DSM-5 diagnosis and rationale
