Introduction
I’m sharing this IMC idea to help Bay Path University to add a new and excitement to new product that will attract a new customer as well as exciting consumer. I have prepared this memo so that I can share my idea about Bay Path University and the possible addition of daycare. This daycare will bring a new profit to Bay Path University.
Bay Path University is a private university located in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Bay Path offers both all women Bachelor’s degree programs (both on-campus and online), and co-educational master’s degree programs (both on-campus and online). The University also has a One Day A Week College for adult women and the American Women’s College, the first all-women online college. Founded in 1897 as the Bay Path Institute, the college has gone through several name changes and upgrades to its accreditation status. From 1988 to 2014 it was known as Bay Path College. Bay Path University is a member of the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield, an eight-college consortium.

Problem / Root Cause
Sometimes students have family issues. It might be that students cannot go to class because their children are sick or other issues. Students might not have places to put their children or do not have someone can trust them to take care of children. In addition, I have a baby who is two months and every Friday my husband is going to Mosque to pray and I have class. I called my friend to take care of my baby, but she does not answer. So I found babysitting and I called her, but she does not free every Friday. That is a big Problem, if Bay Path has daycare, it will be easier and helpful. On the other hand, one of graduate students has a new baby and she always has to leave class every two hours to breast.

About the Opportunity
Furthermore, some of students have children. They do not know where they can put their children when they go to class and for graduate students have class at night from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. I would want to open a small daycare and I’m sure that this will succeed. Because students in Bay Path University have many kids, and they will be more comfortable to be close to their children. On the other hand, the students can get internship to work and get experience working in the daycare.
