A history of the canadian economy during the 1920’s
The paper should talk about the recessions, depressions, economic growth, jobs, unemployment, manufacturing and natural resources, imports and exports etc.
Also discuss this

1. From 1919-1923 Canada faced difficult economic conditions and economic growth was slow. Describe and explain why.

2. From 1924-1928 there was a period of economic growth and considerable prosperity. (The prosperous or roaring 20s). Why? What was the basis of this prosperity? Describe and explain.

3. 1929: this was the year of the Great Crash and the beginning of the Great Depression that continued throughout the 1930s. Describe the Great Crash of 1929, with particular emphasis on Canada. What caused it? (Do not write much on the 1930s. That is beyond the scope of this paper).

Any sources which discuss Canada during the 1920s would be helpful. I especially recommend A History of the Canadian Economy by Norrie, Owram and Emery.
