A college student working at Starbucks slips and falls over a spill. He can’t afford to miss any paychecks, since he is already behind on this months rent. However, his fall was so serious that he had to take a couple weeks off, causing him to miss a paycheck and get kicked out of his apartment. Can this student sue his employer for not having safe working conditions? Can he sue for anything else as well?
