Adult Patient Teaching Plan
Select a patient and write a case study. Include the nursing assessment, health history and at least 3 nursing diagnosis in priority order. Develop one diagnosis which includes knowledge deficit using the nursing process format.
Include a needs assessment (why the education is necessary), evidence of readiness for learning and an educational profile of the learner.
Write measurable objectives using the “SMART” aconym and Bloom’s taxonomy.
Outline your teaching learning activities and strategies providing evidence that you have considered the comprehension level of the lerner. (eg. Audiovisual, return demonstration)
Evaluation or outcome. To what degree were goals met. If not, why not?
