You are required to choose a UK-listed company and get its Annual Report (for the year 2019 or 2020) downloaded from the internet.
Calculate the financial ratios relevant to profitability and liquidity of the company for the years 2018 and 2019 (or 2019 and 2020).
Analyse why the changes occurred in profitability and liquidity highlighting any area to be attended by the management.
You may structure the report as follows:
Write a brief introduction (maximum 150 words)
Describe the background of the company its business, size, growth and market share, etc. (250 words)
Present the calculations highlighting the areas where the changes occurred (500 words)
Present the analysis showing why such changes occurred, what impacts they can make on the companys financial future, and what areas management must attend (1000 words)
Offer a summary/conclusion (100 words)
