Task to complete:
1. Select and describe a socio-ecological model : Recall from Bentley,(2013) that socio-ecological (or social ecological) models are “built in part on notions of reciprocal determinism, which recognize interplay among individuals, groups, and their proximal and distal social environment…[they] are visual depictions of dynamic relationships among individuals, groups, and their environments…” To address this requirement, you could draw on the content and readings of Ottawa Charter, Bronfenbrenner’s Socio-Ecological Model to help you select a relevant model.
2. Discuss how the selected model can be used to demonstrate links between health, planning and sustainability : To address this requirement ,you should draw on examples of how the model has been previously applied to demonstrate these links and /or suggest how it could be used effectively demonstrate the links. 3. Critique the selected model . To address this requirement , please outline the strengths and limitations of the model in terms of demonstrating the link between Health, Planning and Sustainability.
