Family Food Menu

Critical Thinking Sociological Family Food Menu Exercise

For some it can be difficult to feed a family on a limited budget from week to week, but it isnt impossible.  For this assignment you must prepare a menu on a budget of $150.00.  The menu must include meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages for 7 days (Sunday-Saturday) for a family of 5 (mother, father and three children).

Keep in mind the following:
One child is vegan. Will eat some plant-base foods and some breads.
One child is  a vegetarian.  Will eat most fruits, veggies and some sea foods. But will not eat poultry.
One child is a picky eater.  This child doesnt like most fruits, veggies; or foods thats green, red, orange or yellow. But this child will eat  some pasta, especially butter noodles.
The father prefers red meats, but will eat some poultry and pork.  Not a huge fan of fruits  and veggies.
The mother is the opposite; she will not eat red meat or pork; but she will eat most fruits and veggies.
The whole family will not eat left-overs or the same food twice in one week.
As you create your menu, please include an itemized list of the food items and where you purchased them and the prices. If you use coupons please include a copy in your final submission.  Remember, be creative and as informative as possible.  You can include pictures and other visual aids.  Have fun with this assignment. For ideas, you can use your own family for inspiration.
