Internal Structure of my Electronic Business An organization is set for substantial growth and development that entails the use of proper alignment of its structure. Considering the information I have acquired from the prior exploration of videos and presentation, I am now equipped to create an imperative organizational structure of my organization. My consideration for the internal organizational structure of the business will include a well-segmented horizontal departmentalization that will as well be formed on the basis of vertical structures for seamless operational flow. On the horizontal departmentalization, there will be special division of duties across the major operations forming complete organizational activities. Set departments for the business will include the following representatives: product manager, sales and marketing director, and human resource manager. All these departmental representatives will be accountable to reporting, discussing on the progressiveness of the organization, and making decisions approved by the Chief Operations Officer (COO), as Jobs says about it being successfully practiced in Apple Company (WFLA News, 2012). The model of considering the departmental personnel reporting and coordinating with the COO does not mean he or she will be the final decision maker in this organization, but an overview monitor and coordinator of the departments to ensure well-stratified flow of internal operations. In order to ensure the mode of responsibility remains tactical and centric for faster and direct responses and plan of activities, the four departments will not have any separate committee that overlooks the flow of events in the organizational operations across departments, but the managers and directors of the specific departments will represent their departments fully. Instead, there will be set time for all the departmental managers and directors to meet two times for every month whereby the main purpose for such meeting will be for every representative to update the others on the progressive matters taking place in their specific department in relation to the set prerogatives. When the basic updating is done in all departments, then compound decisions will be made through participation of every departmental personnel. They will be accustomed to evaluation of the general progressiveness of business operations and transactions in order to arrive to the compound decisions made by general considerations. Led by the COO, the decisions made will be made in accordance with the opinions supported by a majority, since different people may have diverse suggestions and view perspectives. The product manager will be accustomed to supporting the organization with products and demo information, aiding in the product developers with sufficient user requirement together with project scheduling, and working supporting the marketing team with proper product attributions to come with the substantial communication processes. Sales and marketing director will be accustomed to planning and implementing sales forecasts towards attainment of set organizational objectives and goals, duties that are seconded by the Society for Human Resource Management (2014). The sales and marketing director will also be accustomed to developing and managing sales and marketing budget operations, overseeing advertising and promotional activities, and monitoring the competitive progressions position the sales and marketing activities with a competitive edge. Finally, the human resource management will be accustomed to workforce planning involving turnover and succession planning and recruitment accountability whereby he or she will be accountable for appointment terms and operations, candidate selection, and probation activities. The Human resource manager will also be responsible for the remuneration programs with motivational, promotional, and performance appraisal management being the centric responsibility. The manager will as well be accountable for the training and development and staff relations. The reason for not having a specific financial director is because the my organization will uniquely organize the internal departments whereby every responsible manager or director will be required to monitor, evaluate, report, and lead the financial allocation, but with compound agreements set in the two-time meetings for every month. The need to have every manager or director to be responsible for making substantial follow-up of the financial in- and out-flow is to arouse the spirit of unity, dependence, and direct responsibility, which boosts the rate of responsibility for every assigned personnel. However, an Assistant COO will be bound correlating all cash flow and allocation for proper presentation of financial management for the entire organization. 2. My business structure is straight forward, I as the owner, will manage the day to day operations of my business. I will hire a part time assistant to enroll families. After six months I will hire additional staff which will include two instructors, one maintenance man, and one cook. After one year I will hire additional staff which will include two assistants. 2a. Good comments on the internal structure of your day care center, the internal structure of your organization enhances the communication between employees, departments and the community. If structure well it is also a motivational tool that motivates employees to work harder and more effectively.
