As a continuation from the previous assessment, your organisation has successfully garnered the tender
for the website to kick-start the Tourism Year 2015 for Brunei therefore you as the project manager have to
prepare certain documents needed for the project’s initiation.
The first task as a project manager that you need to deliver is the Project Plan. As the deadline is
approaching, it is your responsibility for the timely delivery of all what is required for the project initiation.
Your team will consist of FIVE (5) members including yourself. You are to complete the following tasks in
order to finalise your project plan.

Learning Outcome:
3.1: Design the project organisation with reference to prepared project management plans
2.1: Plan the most appropriate organisation structure.
2.2: Discuss roles and responsibilities of participants within a project.
2.5: Plan specific human resources and requirements for a project
For the first phase of your project plan you are to create a Statement of Work (Learning Outcome 3.1). In
this document, you are required to create an Introduction and Project Organisation.
Your introduction should include the purpose of your project, objectives of the project, the scope and
constraints of the project. For your project organisation, you should consider certain Human Resource
requirements and roles which are specific to the project. In your Project Organisation section, you are
required to produce the following;-

a) For each of your members of your project you are to assign roles for them. You are also required to
give them responsibilities. Give a brief description of what is their role and responsibility in the
project (Learning Outcome 2.2). Reminder: Your team consist of FIVE (5) members only.

b) You are to plan the most appropriate organisation structure for your project. Illustrate your
organisation structure. Justify why you picked the structure and explain the reason for your project
team selection (Learning Outcome 2.1)

c) Discuss the human resource requirements and roles which are specific to your project. Create both
a Skills Matrix and a Human Resource Matrix for your project (Learning Outcome 2.5)
