Write a 2-3 page analytical summary of the selected policy issue

1) In very concise terms, state what the policy is designed to regulate. – who is it targeted for, what is its general purpose, etc. NOTE: This should be brief, one to three paragraphs.

2) What issue/shortcoming(s) currently exists within the policy (again, policies have historically had a difficult time “keeping up” with constantly changing social realities). Media, news, internet sources, and agencies are key “vehicles” through which advocacy and/or special interest groups make their opinions known about policy inadequacies.
