Order Description
Expectations
The Senior Seminar is an independent study in which Applied Behavioral Sciences students demonstrate their personal learning during the program. More specifically, it is an opportunity for you to review the various concepts and theories that were covered in the program, and then give examples of how these concepts and theories have been put into practice in your life. Usually, this project takes the form of a paper that is 10-15 pages in 10-12 pages in length.
Some of the concepts that were covered in the program are as follows:
how groups function clearly presenting your position
problem solving skills managerial skills
conflict resolution leadership skills
life long learning ethical thinking
temperament types- critical thinking
verbal and non-non verbal communication listening
multiculturalism
(the assigned writer can add some concepts if familiar with the Applied Behavioral Sciences Curriculum)
Steps to follow in preparing your Senior Seminar Project:
Select those concepts, ideas or theories that were the most important to you or had the most impact on your life ( at least 8 concepts)
Think of examples of those concepts ( Think of particular situations in either your personal or professional life)
Write an explanation of each concept and then give a specific example of how you changed your behavior after learning this concept.
Finalize paper and add one page summary
