Create an online blog reflecting on the creative development of your ideas for the live project with Browns.
These need to be communicated clearly and professionally, using appropriate resources. You must address the needs of the client’s project and demonstrate understanding of the principles and practices of fashion marketing in relation to launching a global, mobile pop up shop.
For you to achieve the highest mark for this assessment you need to update your blog weekly (minimum) including details of topics discussed in class and further development of your own research.
Week 1 – The Wedding Environment and Bridal Trends – include primary and secondary research and your own trend predictions.
Week 2 – Review of Venue and Pop Up Store Trends – prepare questions for next week’s Guest Speaker, Blogger, Cameron Tewson, Front Row Edit. Prepare questions for tutorial.
Week 3 – Bloggers – how can this work in the bridal market? Prepare questions for tutorial.
Week 4 – V&A Archive Visit – report in blog. Prepare questions for site visit to Browns Brides and plan competitor shop visit.
Week 5 – Browns Brides Visit and Competitor Shop – report findings and prepare questions for Sarah Harkness, Guest Lecturer, Interior Design.
Week 6 – The 3D Look of your idea – think about how this would be rolled out to other locations.
Week 7 – Reflect on progress so far.
Week 8 – Reflect on presentation.
